Como já é costume todo ano, durante a San Diego Comic Con foram anunciados os vencedores do Eisner Awards deste ano, o maior prêmio do mundo dos quadrinhos. O destaque do ano, mais uma vez, vai para o escritor Tom King. Esse ano o quadrinista leva quatro prêmios, nas categorias de Melhor Escritor, Melhor História Curta, Melhor Série Limitada e Melhor Álbum Gráfico – Reimpresso.
